Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will support Project Management and Engineering activities by coordinating resources, schedules, and sub-contractors for job sites. While ensuring culture, safety, and excellence, you’ll abide by work activity plans and ensure projects on schedule and being completed on time.

Project sizes range from $3M-$700M, so you’ll get a wide variety of project exposure and see it through from dig to completion; plus you’ll be joining an organization that’s been in business for over a century. This is a field-based role and will be working on-site at project site in the greater Seattle area.

In addition to a competitive salary, we have a profit sharing program that employees are eligible for as well. We will provide a company vehicle, computer, cell phone, and cover gas expenses.

Responsibilities

Oversee and Ensure work activity plans are being completed Support Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Field Engineers to enable communication across project teams Complete all record-keeping as needed including but not limited to: quality records, project planning, schedules, sub-contractor communication, inventory logs, invoices, transmittals, and submittals Monitor project cost control and material/equipment inventory Support estimating as needed Mentor and develop field engineering staff Review and submit RFIs Perform CTCs

Desired Skills And Experience

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering 2+ years of previous civil engineering experience preferably from highway, roadway, bridge, transportation, earthwork, or renewables Understanding and working knowledge of formwork and falsework engineering Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities AGTEK or Autocad experience preferred
