SkyWater Search is excited to partner with a Global Quantitative Trading Firm to find a Quantitative Research Developer. You will work closely with top developer, systems, and operations teams to design, implement and analyze new automated electronic trading algorithms from their modern office in Downtown Chicago.
If you have a background working for another quantitative trade firm or post-graduate work with financial markets and trading, this is an opportunity to implement your ideas in a supportive environment with leadership that encourages experimentation.
This close-knit office environment has less than 50 people and the dynamism of a startup, but with the backing of an established international firm. Teams are collaborative and cross-functional so we’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented but looking to move ideas rapidly from prototyping to production.
Meet with traders and collaborate find ways to increase precision and amplify impact. Help them turn winning intuition into scalable tools.
Research advanced algorithms, develop predictive models and verify hypotheses.
Implement methods to visualize multidimensional data and build real time-performance measurement tools.
