The Purpose
As a Growth Engineer at Slickdeals, you will be responsible for designing and executing experiments leveraging A/B testing and data analysis to optimize key metrics such as user acquisition and retention.
We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Growth Engineer who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast paced environment. Our ideal candidate has strong instincts and a mix of backend and frontend skills, along with familiarity with modern A/B testing, analytics, and application performance optimization.
Slickdeals is seeking opportunities to implement new technology that can help us improve our product and as a Senior Growth Engineer you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and lead us down the path of growth.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with Technical Management, Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Scrum Masters to create software solutions that align with Slickdeals' business goals and drive growth. Develop, test, and debug web applications for the Slickdeals website, ensuring seamless experiences across desktop and mobile platforms. Integrate new solutions into our existing platforms to enhance functionality and user experiences. Optimize and maintain existing applications to improve performance and usability. Participate actively in code review processes and uphold coding standards to maintain code quality and consistency. Assist in planning and executing improvements to our application architecture, development environments, and processes to support growth initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Required Experience
Hands-on technological experience and a strong command of two programming languages: TypeScript and PHP. Demonstrate expertise in designing and executing various experiments using A/B testing methodologies to drive growth and optimizations. Possess strong data analysis skills, extracting actionable insights to inform growth strategies and measure impact. Have experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve user engagement and conversion rates. Can conduct in-depth user behavior analysis, segmentation, and cohort analysis to drive targeted growth initiatives. Have familiarity with product-led growth strategies, SEO best practices, and organic growth tactics. Enjoy collaborative work environments, taking initiative, and supporting rapid iterations to achieve growth goals. Exhibit excellent communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and idea exchange across teams. Experience working at a web property with millions of daily visits.
