Responsibilities

Sloan has an immediate opening for a Test Technician in our Andover, MA facility. In this role you will perform a variety of hydraulic plumbing tests and basic mechanical testing Responsibilities include:

Perform a variety of standard tests as requested Aid Test Engineer's in the building of mechanical and electrical test fixtures You will provide technical support to R&D efforts. Maintain operation and documentation of all of the test equipment or updating of testing procedures Maintain engineering labs Schedule, build and test prototype when needed

Qualifications

Associate Degree 2+ Years relevant experience in lieu of degree Ability to communicate with Engineers and others other internal groups on a regular basis. Ability to safely maneuver large bulk fixtures in excess of 50 lbs. Able to work independently and multi task on various projects. Familiarity and safe use of small tools and drill presses as well as high pressure and high flow testing equipment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Data Acquisition software such as Lab View. Perform basic plumbing installations, have a basic plumbing knowledge, basic Geometry and a basic working knowledge of flushometer Ability to work on PCB programming, testing and debugging preferred. A basic knowledge of statistics such as averaging and standard deviations preferred
