Communications Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to join our team at Smartly. This role is pivotal in supporting our external narrative and enhancing brand awareness for Smartly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, preferably within the tech or adtech industry, and possess exceptional project management skills.

This is a hybrid role: 2 days in our NYC office (more if you like) and 3 days remote.

As a Communications Manager at Smartly you will…

Collaborate with the Head of Communications, SVP of Marketing and communications team to develop and execute strategies to amplify the Smartly.io narrative externally including via PR, awards, thought leadership and content partnershipsSupport external PR efforts, including media relations, press releases, and journalist outreachManage communications tracker and relevant marketing calendar activities to highlight the team's ongoing projectsCoordinate and manage award submissions to increase industry recognition for SmartlyProject manage internal communications series such as All-Hands meetings to ensure effective dissemination of key messages within the organizationContribute engaging content to our social media channels in collaboration with the brand team

We are looking for you if you have…

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven track record of building and maintaining relationships with media contactsCreative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand buildingFamiliarity with social media platforms and content creation toolsA Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field5-7 years of communications experience, preferably at an agency or in-house at a tech or adtech company.

The base pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual’s background, expertise, and experience in determining final salary.
