📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Role: SmartSource seeks 7 Voice Engineers for a 4+ month remote opportunity in the continental United States.
This entails an 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday schedule.Candidates must be US Citizens, with potential for extensions or permanent hires after 4 months.Applicants will undergo background checks including drug tests and financial credit checks.
Responsibilities include:Assisting with documentation, equipment addition to management tools, handoff to Operations, and similar tasks for deployment completion.Investigating and adjusting Third-party vendor connectivity supporting voice services.Discovery, design, deployment, and testing of network infrastructure adjustments including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and WAN connectivity services (MPLS, site-site IPsec VPN, etc).Troubleshooting network infrastructure.
Qualifications:US Citizenship.6+ years of professional experience.Experience with VoIP systems and traffic flow.Background with Cisco and Arista Voice products.Extensive troubleshooting and support experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and WAN connectivity services (MPLS, site-site IPsec VPN, etc).Residence in the continental US.Excellent communication skills.
