The CFO Organization at Snap includes Accounting, Business Partner Finance, Business Planning & Operations, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Partnerships & Strategy, Tax, and Treasury teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.
We’re looking for a Senior, Risk Advisory Partners to join the Risk Advisory Partners team at Snap Inc! Working closely with the entire RAP team, you will lead performance of process walkthroughs and help execute testing procedures for SOX controls Compliance. Working from our Santa Monica, CA office, you’ll collaborate with various teams to identify control gaps and risks.
What you’ll do:
Based on SOX Compliance control procedures performed, formulate value-adding conclusions supported by facts and data, and provide recommendations and guidance on identified control gaps and risksAssist with developing scope and test procedures relevant to risk and project objectives for operational reviews identified as part of the RAP team’s Business Process PlanPrepare and review audit results (i.e., control design and operating effectiveness workpapers) that are high quality and in line with audit standards, for reliance by external auditorsOwn key tasks and work streams in the SOX Compliance Program, including planning and overseeing walkthroughs, and executing tests of control design and operating effectivenessCollaborate with Finance team members and RAP IT and RAP Metrics on changes to business processes and controls and be able to identify impact on SOXBuild and maintain positive working relationships with business partners/finance team members and process owners
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Deep knowledge of and experience in working through Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsProven understanding of COSO Framework and other relevant internal control frameworksExpertise in application of internal controls, risk principles, and US GAAPPossess high standards for personal work results and displays pride in executing responsibilities Ability to function within and lead a co-source relationship with external service providerFamiliar with Auditboard software and tools (SOX Hub, Ops Audit)Familiar with data analytics tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Looker and knowledge of coding languages like SQL or Python is preferredHas been a part of an operational, regulatory, or compliance internal audit project or operational review that resulted in management recommendations for improving a processPrevious experience in cross-functional collaboration, including with Finance, IT, and other operational business divisionsAble to optimally interact with various levels of management, including functional department managers and directorsSomeone who thrives on building from the ground up and enjoys reaching for the highest performance standardsProactive and results-driven and able to deliver by collaborating with people throughout the organizationExecutes well and flourishes in an fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to multifaceted changesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAble to work independently while operating collaboratively as a phenomenal teammate
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, engineering, information systems, or other related business subject area or equivalent years of experience3+ years experience with a public accounting firm in an assurance or advisory role, company's internal audit, or SOX department required (i.e., Performing Business Process and IT audits)
Preferred Qualifications
CPA, CIA, or CISA

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):
The base salary range for this position is $114,000-$171,000 annually.
Zone B
The base salary range for this position is $108,000-$163,000 annually.
Zone C
The base salary range for this position is $97,000-$145,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
