The candidate will be working in a fast-paced global enterprise environment and will require the Technician to be onsite. The ideal Maintenance Technician must have leadership and communication skills in addition to technical and maintenance expertise, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.Basic Education, Experience and Skills RequiredHigh School Diploma or 4 years of experience in Industrial maintenance.Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.(2) years of Preventative Maintenance experience (seminars, certificates, degree, leading PM teams etc.)Abilities to read blueprints / machine schematicsCompetent in pneumatics applicationsCompetent in basic electrical applicationsCompetent with Lock out Tag out applicationsWorking knowledge of tools (Drill Press, Mills, Horizontal / Vertical Saws, Belt Sanders)Basic abilities to weld (MIG, ARC, TIG, Stick etc.)Able to operate a computer and maintain records of maintenanceAnalytical skills / Detail oriented /manage time and responsibilities independentlyTechnical understanding of machine and components.
