📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
SolComms, a fast-growing, high-energy PR agency for companies who dare to disrupt, is hiring an Director for its HealthTech division. This role will oversee a portfolio of HealthTech companies selling to health systems and life sciences companies.
We're an integrated agency for startups and scale-ups at the intersection of corporate and consumer. SolComms selectively partners with companies who have a point of view from both a brand and executive level - that’s our sweet spot. Our work turns brands into media darlings and founders into thought leaders across healthcare, tech, lifestyle, and more. We've been named a top PR firm by Observer, Business Insider, and PRWeek.
We just launched in May 2023 and already have 20+ clients and nearly 20 employees. This won't be your typical Director role - this individual will play a pivotal role in the development of this agency. Here's what you'll do:Partner with the founder to oversee and grow the HealthTech divisionExecute against client goals while also bringing new, creative media-centric ideas to the table Act as a lead day-to-day contact for clients, delivering exceptional client service and earning their trustConsistently land top-tier features and placements for clients in key media outletsReview key media materials, including OpEds, press releases, and pitchesManage and mentor AMs, SAEs, AEs, and ACsTake an active role in business development - participating in the development of proposals, joining pitches, and sourcing new leads
