SolidProfessor is looking for a UX Designer with a proven track record of crafting exceptional user experiences in a team environment. In the UX Designer role, we expect you to have deep knowledge of your craft. You can expect to be involved in every step of the process: researching solutions, interacting with customers, and creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN THIS UX DESIGNER ROLE?

Play a key role in transforming high-level product roadmap initiatives into robust features that fully serve the needs of our members Compile research, create user flows, wireframe solutions, mockup UIs and design experiences Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to come up with robust solutions to complex user experience challenges Collaborate cross functionally with Product Managers and Software Engineers in a team environmentDefine and maintain UX specifications and standards across all user facing web apps Keep up with the latest trends and techniques in design, UI, and UX Learn and implement new technologies and help evolve existing onesContribute to the continual improvement of the UX/UI team’s processes, workflows, standards, and best practices in support of the broader team’s product development methodologyCollaborate with other UX Designers to define and maintain UX/UI specifications and standards across all user-facing web appsEnsure consistent, high-quality UX/UI outputParticipate in transforming high-level product roadmap initiatives into robust features that serve the needs of our customersLead Design Workshops comprised of stakeholders with varying design experienceCompile and analyze research, create user flows, wireframe solutions, mockup UIs and design experiencesKeep up with the latest trends and techniques in design, UI, and UXLearn and implement new technologies and help evolve existing ones

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS UX DESIGNER ROLE?

2-4 years of UX/UI design experience crafting software in a team environment using user-centric principlesExperience working in an Agile environment using Lean UX or similar methodologyPortfolio displaying strong skills in UX and workflow designKnowledge of user-centered design principles and practices, web standards, responsive design, typography and color, and web usability standardsProficiency with wireframe and visual design tools such as FigmaExperience collaborating with a Product ManagerExperience conducting end-to-end UX research, including usability testingKnowledge of design systems and related methodologiesMust have portfolio link included with application to be considered for this position. SolidProfessor has determined that the new hire pay range for this role is between $85,000 and $110,000. Your base pay will be based on a number of factors, including knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
