Financial Analyst
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client, a large San Diego Automotive organization, is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to add to their team. This role will be on site and located in the San Diego office.
Responsibilities
Manage and create budgets, forecasts, policies, procedures and controls Evaluate budgeted versus actual financial performance against managements expectations Audit expenditures and ensure they are in line with budget Manage invoices, uploading expense files and the logging and tracking of purchase orders Assist Accounting with month-end close, booking journal entries and performing analysis Create and distribute a consolidated financial reporting package for senior leadership Audit records as required or assigned and make recommend changes to policies and procedures Ensure Sarbanes/Oxley requirements are met
Required Qualifications
3 plus years of solid Financial Analysis experience Be an expert in Excel and have a solid working knowledge of Access software’s A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required for this role ?????Some experience with SOX reporting is preferred
