Supply Chain Strategy Consultant

We are looking for a Supply Chain Strategy Consultant for a top retail company. This is a 3-6 month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on location. This is remote role with travel to San Francisco, CA. It is highly preferred this person comes from a management consulting background with a Big4 company or similar. Retail client/industry experience specifically within apparel or footwear experience is required. This candidate will be harmonizing processes across 5 brands with heavy focus in product creation. The candidate will also be responsible for process mapping providing an end to end view of the product market process noticing difference between brands. This role plays a critical part to drive large scale supply chain transformation programs balancing process improvement, advanced analytics, technology and change management. You are a strong problem solver with a passion drive impact and build best in class supply chain capabilities.

Responsibilities

Support Supply Chain Strategy development across Product Development, Responsive Program Management, Omni-Channel fulfilment & Return Management as well as logistics.Bring through leadership: Stay abreast with the latest industry trends. Partner with brand and functional leaders. Educate, augment and evolve our supply chain roadmap and capabilities.Drive Change: Develop and manage large scale and complex implementations.Drive Impact: Develop financial and operational analytics capabilities to measure impact across all of our brands, business ventures and operational functions. Accompany business leaders in decision making and workforce up-skilling to drive sustainable change post-implementation.

Required Qualifications

Top Tier Consulting and strategy experience leading process and capability development.Experience in product to market processes for apparel retail specifically merchandising, inventory management or other relevant experience.Best-in-class project management experience.Lead cross-functional teams in evaluation of hypotheses, strategic analysis / planning, and operational execution to further Gap Inc. goals and priorities.Develop and refine project scope, structure, and approach, including frameworks, quantitative and qualitative analyses, and capability roadmaps.Identify key issues, guide and execute analysis, develop conclusions, and present findings to cross-functional leaders.Manage critical company-wide programs.Own program governance including stakeholder / leadership engagement, analytics, metrics and reporting.Ensure relevant programs/projects are on track, including budget, timeline and scope.Anticipate roadblocks and proactively address issues before they impact business results.Engage with cross functional teams; and with change management and leading transition.Strong Analytical Skill set.Advanced data cleansing and reporting skills.Advanced modelling and optimization skills.Good understanding/foundations in data engineering.Proficient at senior management communication.
