Business Process BA

SolomonEdwards’ banking client is looking for a senior Business Analyst to support their enterprise-wide business continuity management system. Expert in Visio and strong SAP experience required.

W2 ONLY – No C2C or Corp2CorpLOCATION: MUST be local to Washington, DC Area to be consideredWORK STATUS: Hybrid – 4 days Onsite (20433) & 1 day Remote from HomeDURATION: 6 months, with possibility for extension

Responsibilities:Identify time-critical business processesComplete Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) .Facilitating BCP testing, identify action items, and ensure BIA & BCP data quality.Support the Business Continuity Team in the Operational Risk Department.Maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders and facilitate identification of critical processes in the business unit with agreed timeline.Advise process owners on identifying time-critical processes to include process mapping.Complete identification of resources required to enable the process for BIA and BCPs .Validate data and ensure data quality.Participate in bi-weekly status update and reporting activities and ensure business unit complete their deliverables within agreed timeline.

Required Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems Management or relevant work experience.Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience with a track record in client serving roles.Familiarity with typical business processes combined with strong process analysis skills.High-level of initiative with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Expert level Visio and SAP experience.Experience completing business impact analysis and developing business continuity plans and knowledge banking operations is preferred.Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to communicate well with all organizational levels, and technical as well as non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work directly with clients and management along with facilitate and navigate discussions with stakeholders to ensure clarity, prioritization, and consensus.Ability to work well with diverse team members, often in multiple locations.Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work with different points-of-view and lead the team to convergence, while always keeping the project/initiative objectives in sight.

Rate $65 -$80 per hour W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
