The Warehouse Associate is responsible for entering, tracking and analyzing all product and associated materials and is the point of contact for all warehouse shipping, receiving, and inventory control. They support the planning of efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. The Warehouse Associate utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other databases to track, analyze, and report processes and performance.

Your day will look like this

Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Manage all electronic receipts of equipment/product when it arrives. Collaborates and communicates with, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintains a clean and neat work environment. Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables. Enter all receiving purchase order information and virtual shipments. Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all assigned inventory. Responsible for pulling inventory for order prep, pre-fabrication, and staging on project pallets. Responsible for picking and packing of all products, materials, and supplies. Coordinate and manage the maintenance of equipment. Engages with vendors and Solotech associates with a positive attitude. Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments. Other duties as assigned.

Your profile

Minimum High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of one (1) year of Warehouse or inventory experience. Experience with UPS, FedEx shipping, tracking and receiving. International shipping experience is preferred. Clear and professional communication skills. Proficient in Office365. Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities. Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills

Work Requirements

Time will be spent in an office setting. Environment may be fast paced. Flexible work hours to support operations. Typical workweeks standard 40 hours.
