Business Immigration Paralegal
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are excited to represent our client in Denver as they expand their Legal Department and seek a skilled Business Immigration Paralegal to join their team. With a focus on immigration case management, document preparation, and client communication, the Business Immigration Paralegal will play a vital role in supporting the firm's immigration practice. This role offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Required Skills:Assist attorneys in preparing and filing employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E-2, and O-1 visas.Coordinate with clients, foreign nationals, and government agencies throughout the immigration process.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and databases.Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and corresponding with clients.Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks and submissions.Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.Prepare and file responses to requests for evidence (RFEs) and other government inquiries.Assist with PERM labor certification applications and audits.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree; major in legal studies is a plus but not required.3+ years of experience as a Business Immigration Paralegal.Strong proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong understanding of employment-based immigration processes and regulations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to providing exceptional client service.Paralegal Certification is a plus.
Compensation: $55,000-75,000 + Medical Benefits, Paid Sick Leave, 401k, Transit & Parking BenefitsSalary range is determined based on factors such as relevant experience, expertise, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
