Corporate Paralegal - Financial Services

We are excited to represent a major financial services firm in Denver who is looking to add a Corporate Paralegal to their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, and transactional matters. They will also have prior experience as a Corporate Paralegal within financial institutions, including banks, investment firms, and fintech companies. This role offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises.Manage corporate governance matters including entity formations, regulatory filings, etc.Research and analyze legal and regulatory issues including banking laws, securities regulations, and consumer protection statutes.Assist in compliance matters, including developing policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and responding to regulatory inquiries.Coordinate with clients, external counsel, and regulatory agencies to facilitate regulatory examinations and audits.Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and accessible.

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree; major in legal studies is a plus but not required.5+ years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal within a financial institution, including banks, investment firms, and fintech companies.Strong proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and case management software.Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements, including banking, securities, consumer protection laws, SEC rules, and FINRA regulations.Paralegal Certification is a plus.

Compensation: $65,000 - 85,000 + Medical Benefits, Paid Sick Leave, 401k, Transit & Parking BenefitsSalary range is determined based on factors such as relevant experience, expertise, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
