Corporate Paralegal - Technology
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are excited to represent a major IT/software firm in Denver who is looking to add a Corporate Paralegal to their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal contracts, intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory compliance.. This role offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including software licenses, service agreements, and vendor contracts.Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions including reviewing intellectual property portfolios, regulatory compliance, and data privacy practices.Manage corporate governance matters including entity formations, and corporate filings.Assist in intellectual property matters, including trademark registrations, copyright filings, and IP licensing agreements.Research and analyze legal issues related to technology, including data privacy laws, cybersecurity regulations, and emerging industry trends.
Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree; major in legal studies is a plus but not required.5+ years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal within Tech industry.Strong proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and case management software.Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.Paralegal Certification is a plus.Experience working with technology clients, such as software companies, IT service providers, or startups, preferred.
Compensation: $65,000 - 85,000 + Medical Benefits, Paid Sick Leave, 401k, Transit & Parking BenefitsSalary range is determined based on factors such as relevant experience, expertise, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
