Grant Accountant
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A Nonprofit providing critical services to the NYC community, is looking to hire a Grant Accountant for their growing team. The role will be responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly reimbursement claims for government and other funding sources. This will include analyzing the accuracy of expenses and posting to proper projects, categories, accounts and tasks, as well as preparing journal entries for reallocations. Other responsibilities include analyzing budget to actual expenses and preparing budget modifications, maintaining a billing schedule of vouchers prepared and submitted, posting accounts receivable data entries, and assisting with annual budget process and annual audits. Requirements
Experience with Sage Intacct One year+ of Nonprofit/ Grant Accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Knowledge of state and local grants
Compensation: $60,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
