Senior Grant Accountant
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A Nonprofit in NYC is looking to hire a Senior Grant Accountant as an addition to their growing staff. This role will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of grants (city, state and private grants), review and coding of A/P invoices, prepare journal entries to accrue revenue and expenses (and allocations), ensure compliance with government and private foundation funding requirements, assist Director of Budgets with preparation of annual budgets, assist with audit preparation, and analyze revenue and expenses versus budget. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business 5+ year's experience in Grant Accounting, specifically with NY State and NY City funder requirements (DTFA, DYCD, OTDA)Strong Excel skills
Compensation: $95,000-$100,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
