📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Soni's manufacturing client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a GROWING team! The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with monthly close duties, billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, posting journal entries, and financial statement prep, and will be cross-trained across all areas of the accounting process. The Staff Accountant will also have the opportunity to step up and get involved with process improvements and other ad-hoc accounting projects to gain additional mentorship. The successful candidate is an ambitious and proactive entry level or early career accountant who wants to be part of a collaborative team environment. Requirements:Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or similar field of study0-1+ years of accounting experience including internshipsUnderstanding of US GAAP and basic accounting principles Strong Excel skills and systems savvy
Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
