Key Responsibilities

Bulk of duties are post-operative patient assessmentsThis position requires extensive experience in customer service, and skill in listening to patient concerns with the ability to de-escalate and problem solve in real timeWound care when necessary, and reporting any type of complication to surgeon and management Must be extremely detail oriented and organizedResponsible for quality control of charting, patient experience, and quarterly drillResponsible for assigning and managing physician peer reviewsResponsible for calling patients post operatively to check in and assess via phone prior to post op appointmentPartnering with clinical manager in reportable incidents, managing AAAHC accreditation, patient escalation, and management of clinical staff daily dutiesRequired to spend at least one day a month in operating room with surgeon to maintain an understanding of the whole patient experience.Charting

This role works through the full patient experience; pre-procedure, intra-procedure, medication administration and post-procedure.

Use of the telephone, computer and other related instruments or devices while communicating with patients, caregivers, physicians and staff Vision and hearing acuity Standing and walking for periods of time - this is a fasted paced centerAbility to lift up to 25 pounds

Key Skills/Qualifications

Must be familiar with MS Office, including ExcelDemonstrates strong decision making capabilitiesAbility to write reports and correspondence Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients, caregivers, physicians and staffAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide Ability to problem solve Ability to recognize and elevate care to physician Ability to assess medical clearance issues, medication history and review, and wound assessment

Education

A.D.N. or B.S.N. from accredited College of NursingSuccessful completion of the NCLEX-RN exam in state of desired practice

Experience

3 years experience as an RNExperience in a cosmetic surgery center is a plus
