Since 2003, our board-certified physicians have been providing excellent digestive health care. In November 2023, we opened our own ambulatory surgery center, known as the Southern Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Equipment Processing Technician at the Southern Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center. The Equipment Processing Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks including equipment processing and sterilization, quality control, assisting with patient care and clerical duties, as needed. The technician will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medical equipment.
QualificationsExcellent communication skillsExperience in laboratory settingsKnowledge of quality control processesFamiliarity with sterilization techniquesAbility to provide training on equipment processing proceduresAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in healthcare or medical settings is preferred
