The Manager Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) leads FP&A Business Partners that support four technology portfolios: Commercial, Customer, Cybersecurity, and Technology Common Platforms and Cloud. In addition, this role collaborates with teams in Technology, Supply Chain, the Vendor Management Office, Workforce Planning, and the Project Management Office (PMO) to deliver strategic projects and initiatives through financial planning and analysis, governance support, SOW approvals, etc. The Manager FP&A is a strong communicator with a continuous improvement mindset ready to contribute to the financial well-being of Southwest. Additional Details: The culture of Southwest Airlines means we embrace a flexible workplace and value the camaraderie, collaboration, and innovation that occurs when we come together and interact face-to-face at our vibrant Corporate Campus. This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work at a Company facility at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site. U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. required and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available.

ResponsibilitiesAdvise and guide financial, variance, and trending analysis for key cost drivers and metricsAdvise and guide the development of new financial models and improve accuracy and insights of current financial modelsEstablish deliverable timelines ensuring plans, analysis, projects, and/or presentations are delivered on timeOversee and contribute to comprehensive financial, analytical, and decision support at the Team, Department, and/or Executive levelIdentify and execute opportunities that improve agility, efficiency, accuracy, and capabilities of FP&A processes and deliverables proactivelyResearch new financial products or analytics to determine their usefulness and advise on strong systems and technology solutions in support of Finance business processesReview and approve the methodologies, models, and tools used by embedded TeamsGuide the Department in achieving its long-term vision of a Successful FP&A DepartmentSupport and lead parts of the FP&A Digital Transformation planAdvise and guide the Department's overall data strategy, data reliability, and data availabilityMay perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
