Essential Functions* Ensure driver loads are consistent with equipment capacity, Load Factor and Load Efficiency standards* Audit load efficiency and compliance with DOT/MOT regulations* Ensure driver assignments are properly documented; ensure compliance with assignment* Ensure drop sequence is clear to driver and obtain driver acknowledgement/agreement* Update load planners regarding available equipment for future shipments
Requirements* High school graduate or equivalent * 3 + years' dispatch experience, including management in a union environment* Excellent decision-making, communication, and customer service skills* Strong leadership and supervisory skills* Working knowledge of computers and programs to include Microsoft Office* Ability to effectively manage time and priorities* Strong analytical and mathematical skills* Solid working knowledge of DOT/MOT/JWC regulations
