📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Director of Logistics will build and lead the cGMP warehouse operations for this facility. This position requires effective leadership in ensuring adherence to cGMP standards, timely delivery to customers, and maintaining inventory integrity.
Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards at the site.Manage on-site facilities and liaise with local vendors for necessary support.Maintain responsibility for inventory integrity and segregation.Ensure accurate and timely management of inventory and shipment data in supply chain systems.Implement efficient Supply Chain processes in alignment with company policies and regulations.Supervise the receipt of incoming pharmaceutical materials, including documentation, inspection, and storage.Coordinate the dispatch of finished goods to customers.Ensure onsite systems comply with US DSCSA serialization requirements.Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the supply chain.Participate in regulatory inspections and audits.Support senior leaders with regular reports and updates on departmental activities.Contribute to budget planning and identify cost-saving opportunities.Communicate departmental strategy to ensure alignment with other departments and stakeholders.Lead team meetings to engage stakeholders and facilitate skill development.Share expertise with internal and external stakeholders and address knowledge gaps.
Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain and logistics.Strong knowledge of GMP compliance and pharmaceutical supply chain processes.Familiarity with inventory management systems/customs clearance procedures.
