Senior Accounting Manager

Summery:This position is focused on external reporting, global revenue, fulfillment and inventory related expense accounting, and oversight for the global consolidation process across 5+ legal entities. This position plays a leading role for revenue, fulfillment and inventory expenses, and intercompany transactions in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles as well as help ensure the accounting records are maintained in full compliance with US GAAP. This role interfaces with Corporate FP&A, Tax, External Reporting, Intercompany Accounting, Billing, Data Analytics, Technical Accounting, regional accounting teams, internal and external auditors, and individuals at multiple levels and locations.

Responsibilities:Oversee revenue accounting close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and SOX complianceOversee and guide cost and inventory accounting close and reporting processes, including monthly journal entries, management reporting packages and account reconciliationsSupport technical analysis and accurate revenue recognition along with general accounting teamOversee the billings and collections process to ensure quality of billings in support of quality of revenue recognitionOwn the revenue and intercompany portions of external auditsOversee day to day accounting operations for revenue streamsOversee the monthly financial statement consolidation process, including FX remeasurement, translation, elimination, intercompany transfer pricing, and allocationReview new products offering to determine the revenue accounting and implement respective order-to-cash proceduresInitiate, review, and implement process improvements to revenue, fulfillment, inventory, and intercompany/consolidationIdentify areas for process improvement and efficiencySupport Business and Corporate FP&A teams and other stakeholders in analysis of revenue, fulfillment, and inventory related transactions and variances to budgetChampion process improvements and omation initiatives to reduce manual work within revenue accounting and reporting functions, specifically during periodic close cyclesEnsure effective design and operation of internal controls over revenue, fulfillment, and inventory expense accounting and reporting and related estimates and support control testing activities conducted as part of company's internal SOX compliance programLead external reporting process to provide accurate and reliable information required for external reporting and disclosures as well as deliverables and activities for the external auditDrive execution of accounting policies and technical accounting recommendations as pertains to revenue recognition, credit losses on customer receivables, non-monetary exchange transactions, customer rebates/discounts/returns, inventory reserves, and any related estimates

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA6+ years of experience working in a combination of public accounting, external reporting, revenue, and global accounting operationsComprehensive and current understanding of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition guidance and thorough understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsProven ability to interpret and apply accounting guidance and prepare formal, well-supported, memo’s and supporting analysesStrong communication skills, including ability to present technical guidance and analysis in a comprehensive and articulate manner to different levels and departments throughout the organizationProcess optimization focused - vision with the ability to apply practical solutions and navigate through ambiguityAdvanced skills in Excel/spreadsheet modelingExperience with SAP, FloQast, and Workiva are considered as a plus
