📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are searching for a Quality Assurance Manager in Muncy, PA to oversee all quality control operations to ensure products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures, and methodologies to optimize production processes, minimize defects, and enhance overall product quality. The Quality Assurance Manager collaborates closely with production teams, engineers, suppliers, and customers to address quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and uphold customer satisfaction.
You will have:- Proven experience (5+ years) in quality assurance or quality control roles within sheet metal manufacturing or related industries. Bachelors’ degree or certification in related field is a plus- In-depth knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and precision machining processes, materials, and quality standards- Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and testing methodologies (e.g., lot material record keeping, hydrostatic, ultrasonic).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization, and get buy in on newly developed quality programs and procedures.- Knowledge of ASME Section V, Non-Destructive Examination Requirements
