Spiceworks Ziff Davis is on the hunt for an experienced Analyst to embark on a never-ending quest.
What you’ll do: As a SWZD Research Data & Operations Analyst, you’ll be tasked to leverage fact-
based research to help clients better market their software and services and make informed decisions
about their product and marketing strategies. As an Analyst, your job is to collect, analyze, and present
survey data and generate insights to understand what's relevant and what's not.
What will be your responsibilities?
Conduct research regarding business-to-business (B2B) technology usage and end-user opinionsDevise and assess procedures and methods for data collection, including opinion polls, surveys
and questionnaires
Work closely with industry research directors to support data collection and content creation
activities in each of their areas of expertise
Collaborate with customers and clients to write customized marketing reports based on survey
data
Visualize and present survey data in accurate and engaging charts to help clients make decisionsPrepare reports on findings while illustrating data with graphs and translating complex results into
written texts that are clear and understandable
Collect and analyze data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits and
needs to better identify market potential and factors influencing product demand
Investigate creative ways to improve research processes and explore new areas of B2B
technology

1-2 years of relevant market research, statistics, or survey experienceStrong writing and presenting skillsExcel-based data analysis skillsCreativity in problem solvingUpbeat attitude – approaches challenges as opportunitiesDesire for exposure to multiple disciplinesUnderstanding of technology vendor landscapeKnowledge/experience with technology marketingFamiliarity/acumen with business software (i.e. Salesforce, SAP, MSFT)In terms of logistics, all interviews will take place over phone or video due to the ongoing
