Senior Machine Learning EngineerSalary: $190,000 - $210,000Location: Based in California, an opportunity to work in one of the tech hubs of the world.
Our client is in search of a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to develop and enhance the foundational systems that support their product and research teams. This role involves close collaboration with other ML/RL engineers and researchers in the field of robotics innovation.
ResponsibilitiesConvert initial prototypes into robust, scalable solutions that allow product teams to extend robotic functionalities to their clients.Upgrade and augment existing solutions to facilitate ongoing improvements and reapplications of models.Improve the performance of machine learning systems both on the cloud and directly on robots, focusing on precision and efficiency.Work in conjunction with the team to establish, launch, and uphold necessary ML infrastructure.Interact with stakeholders gathering requirements and guarantee that solutions are tailored to user specifications.Manage the complete lifecycle of new features, from development and testing through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.Leverage your knowledge to guide and train colleagues and contributors throughout the company.
RequirementsDemonstrated hands-on experience or a strong interest in applying ML in robotics.Experience in roles such as Senior Software Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer.Demonstrated skills in programming languages like Python, Julia, or R, and familiarity with associated frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, Numpy).Expertise in distributed computing and handling large datasets with technologies like Spark.Proficient with cloud services (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and experienced in deploying scalable ML solutions (using Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform).Capable of managing data processing and refining techniques.Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
