📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Details:Under general supervision, this position will perform routine sampling and testing in a GMP Manufacturing facility in support of the Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring group. This position will be responsible for one or more of the following activities:
Responsibilities:Assist with environmental monitoring performance qualificationsExecute routine sample collection for environmental monitoring in classified areasAssist with clean utilities performance qualifications, including water for injection, clean steam, clean compressed air, oxygen, and carbon dioxide distribution systemsExecute sample collection for routine utilities monitoringAssist with general lab startup activitiesPerform routine tasks such as cleaning and inventory managementSupport routine activities over the weekends and public holidays as required
Skills:Some lab experience is preferred.Experience with environmental monitoring preferred but not requiredKnowledge of aseptic techniqueExperience with Good Documentation Practices/Good Laboratory Practices preferredGood writing and verbal communication skills.
3 Must Have Skill Sets:Basic science background (science degree or prior laboratory experience) Environmental monitoring experience is a plusKnowledge of Aseptic technique.Proficient in good documentation practices (GMP experience not required but basic laboratory writing skills/GDP/GLP knowledge preferred)
