Job Title: R&D Technical Assistant
Job Location : Reedsville Pennsylvania United States (Onsite)Job duration: 12 months (Possibility of extension)Pay rate: < 39 hour on w2 >
What manager is looking for:· This candidate will be doing reliability, qualification and design testing.· This position is 100% hands on.· Experience with Oscilloscopes is very highly desired.· Documentation of testing reports is required and candidate needs to show he/she has this experience.
Description:· As a R&D Technical Assistant for testing and documentation, you will prepare and conduct test samples for reliability and design qualification testing, document test plans and reports, and conduct testing through the use of various laboratory equipment and environmental chambers to support the development of medical ultrasound transducers.
Your role:· Decides on the method and sequence of work.· Decides whether parts with abnormalities should be replaced or should be modified.· Decides on the desirability of using and making tools and accessories.· Assesses and analyses the desirability/necessity of improvements and simplifications in processes and procedures and draws up a change form.· Conducts and coordinates reliability and design qualification testing in collaboration with R&D reliability engineers, Product Industrialization engineers, and Supply Chain engineers.· Conducts and coordinates performance, acoustic, and safety testing.· Conducts failure analysis in collaboration with R&D engineers.· Documents test plans, protocols, and reports.· Operates laboratory equipment and environmental chambers, relating to the reliability and design qualification testing of medical ultrasound transducers.
You’re the right fit if:· Vocational degree is required.· Verbal and written English.· 2-3 years of working experience in an equivalent environment.· Experience/proven affinity with Microsoft Office applications, as well as with competence-specific tools.· A self-starter, highly motivated with good organization and time management skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and an excellent team player capable of working with cross functional and cross site teams.
