Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-Time) with benefits
Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000/year
Overview
St. Pius X Parish & School in Loudonville, NY is a large suburban community consisting of approximately 2,600 families and a PreK-8 school with 525 students. We are a team oriented staff that works well together. Join our dynamic team at St. Pius X Parish, a growing community with a focus on nurturing faith in youth. As the Youth and Young Adult Minister, you'll lead and coordinate pastoral programs for middle & high school students and young adults in fostering spiritual growth, engagement, and active participation in our vibrant parish life. Presently, we have an active youth ministry program.
Responsibilities:Design and implement the Youth Ministry program, including Middle School Youth Ministry (MSYM), High School Youth Ministry (HSYM), a two-year Confirmation Program, and a Young Adult Ministry.Recruit, train, and supervise Core Team members and maintain Diocesan SAFE Environment training requirements with volunteers.Collaborate with parish and school leadership, maintain a presence in the school and at weekend masses; and connect with youth and parents through electronic media.Develop goals, objectives, and strategies for short and long-term program success.Coordinate with the Marketing Director to promote programs within the parish and school communities.Work collaboratively with neighboring parishes and the Diocese for broader worship, service and programming opportunities.
Work Schedule:Full-time position with a flexible schedule.Some weeknight and weekend commitments.Limited overnight or extended trips for retreats and conferences will be required.Administrative support is available for this position.ο»ΏTo Apply:IMMEDIATE OPENING: Submit your resume and cover letter to Fr.
