📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
MDM Consultant Location:: RemoteDuration: 6+ Months
Requirements:Must have 5-7 years of experience with designing and developing ETL solutions using Informatica MDM and Informatica IDQ.Expertise in supporting and monitoring Informatica ETL processes and tools.Expertise within the MDM environment using technologies such as Informatica Data Director, Informatica Data Quality, Active VOS Experience of on prem support and administration of Informatica hub console, Informatica IDD/IDQ, Active VOS etc. Highly knowledgeable in all aspects of enterprise OLTP and data warehouse concepts, master data management concepts, integration design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance. Must have experience on Informatica mappings and mapplets configuration. Must have working experience on Window & Unix Operating System.Must have working experience on Scripting - PowerShell, Batch, Shell script.Must have working experience on Job Scheduling and orchestration using Informatica and other orchestration tools.Must Have working experience on at least one version control systems such as GitHub or SVN.Experience working with a varied range of databases as a data source / target.Must have solid experience on database concepts including Oracle, MS-SQL Server, Informix, SAP-HANA etc.Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes in SSIS, Informatica.Able to produce quality documentation of the design and development artifacts.Nice to have working experience on Reporting - Qlik, SAP BO, Power BI, MicroStrategyNice to have working experience on API - MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, Azure etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the creating and monitoring Master data management and ETL data integration process using Informatica, SSIS etc.Responsible for leading day to day activities for team (CAB, Code Review, etc.)Responsible for daily administration of on-prem servers hosted on Unix and WindowsResponsible for troubleshooting and working with Informatica and internal ITSM teams for any ticket.Perform data object analysis by defining, analyzing, and validating data objects and relationships using SSIS, Informatica and various profiler tools.Partners with the MDM, BI and various other IT teams to develop and deliver code artifacts to production.Maintain data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries, data element naming standards and data dictionary metadata standards.Implement data objects and integrating data shared across multiple source and target systems.Validates ETL by developing and executing test plans and scenarios including data design and data quality.Run manage and support Production Support ETL processes.Co-ordinates with various stakeholders for release management and deployments. Perform other duties as assigned.
