📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a Program Analyst PowerBI/GIS with a focus on local projects in VA. The Program Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including program management, data analysis, communication, training, and customer service. This is a hybrid role, with the primary location in Richmond, VA, but the opportunity for some remote work.
Required skills:Minimum of 5 years programming experience in a high level compiled language such as C#, C++, JavaMinimum of 5 years experience with scripting languages such as javascript and PythonMinimum of 2 years experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform to include PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and Dataverse. (Hard Requirement)Minimum of 5 years experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing real-time location data.Minimum of 5 years experience using RESTFul APISOther Software Knowledge: Visio, Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio Community Edition, SQL Server, Azure Datalakes and Warehouse, Oracle, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experiences
Skills and abilities:Process mapping experience,Code Documentation,Writing Requirements/Scope documents,Writing use-cases,Using architectural artifactsinterpreting solution architecturesExcellent written and oral communicationCustomer focused collaborationAbility to travel around the state as neededMinimum of three days in the office to work with the rest of the team
