Procurement (Purchasing) Finance Manager

Position Summary:The Procurement Finance Manager will act as a liaison between Purchasing operations and every respective finance function (Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, etc.). This Manager will provide STARPLUS ENERGY with the function to ensure processes and procedures are developed and followed as appropriate. This position reports to the Finance Director. Roles & Responsibilities:Develop the purchasing finance processes, reports, and analyticsReview contracts prior to granting approvals as well as any contract changesRaw data translation and analysis from SAP and DB2 data tables using Qlik Sense and TableauKPI tracking and reporting including preparing annual budgetsCompliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), SPE Group internal control policies, and external audit requirements.Actively participating in sourcing process and providing approvals from Finance perspectiveExplaining variances for raw materials and hedging for metals, PGM, chemicals, steel resale program and scrap steel recoveryRaw material trend analysis, what-if studies, for impacting current and future product costs, forecast development, actuals reporting, executive reporting as well as quarterly analyst financial callsPerform other position related duties as assigned

Location2151 East Lincoln Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902RequirementsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related fieldMust be eligible to work in the United StatesWhile travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as requiredMinimum of 5 years’ experience in Purchasing, Cost Accounting, or FinanceAbility to plan, develop, implement and measure results
