What You Bring To SBHG (Qualifications)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.One (1) year building maintenance experience required.License or CertificationValid California Driver's License, required.Valid California Class "B" Driver's License, preferred.
How You Will Make a Difference (Job Overview)
This position performs a variety of tasks to assist in maintaining the facility's physical plant, equipment, and grounds.
Division/Program Overview
The Maintenance Technician position involves performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on facility buildings, equipment, grounds, and vehicles, covering a range of areas such as utilities, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, electrical work, refrigeration, and heating/air conditioning. The job requires the use of specialized mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment, as well as material handling equipment. Additional responsibilities include receiving and delivering materials, performing sanitation duties, painting surfaces, manually lifting, and moving furniture, and being available for on-call emergency repairs. The position also involves maintaining logs, completing maintenance service requests, and ensuring routine scheduled maintenance for vehicles. Employees are expected to perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of Facilities
