Valid California Driver’s LicenseApplicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or another related mental health fieldRegistered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate as an associate- ACSW, APC, AMFTMarriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross. Bilingual- English/Spanish- must pass in-house test
How You Will Make a Difference
This position assesses clients at start of treatment (reviews as needed), develops and maintains treatment plans, and conducts family collateral and discharge planning. Duties include discussing goals and objectives of proposed treatment plans and establishes a contract with the consumer. Interviewing consumers to team with mental health professionals in determining the needs of individuals or groups on a walk-in/telephone basis; respond to potential suicide or other emergency events. Visits clients, individually or as part of a team, in a variety of living situations, to help assess the mental health needs of individuals and families, observe progress, provide counseling, gather data, and report significant changes in the client's condition to designated professional staff.
