What You Bring To SBHG (qualifications)
Masters Degree in a mental health fieldWill Consider:Enrollment in a practicum course at an accredited Masters Degree program in a mental health field (time limited) ORAwaiting BBS registration number (time limited)One (1)- Two (2) years of experience in a mental health field; experience should be with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings preferred.Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as AMFT, ASW, APCC, OR as listed above enrollment in a practicum course and in an accredited Masters Degree program in a mental health field, or awaiting BBS registration numberLMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license in CaliforniaValid California Driver's License.
How You Will Make a Difference (job Overview)
This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.
Division/Program Overview
Works with clients ages 5-18 from Evergreen School District & East Side Union High School District.Mainly school-based services; home, community and telehealth available as well wide variety of mental health issues addressed.Individual, family, and group therapy.
