Vendor Management Analyst

The Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the State Board of Administration's (SBA) vendor management strategy and processes to optimize relationships with vendors to deliver the best results aligned to cost and business risk mitigation. The Vendor Management Analyst supports the Director of Vendor Management in day-to-day operational activities for the SBA's Vendor Management Program. The Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for evaluating vendor risk and supports the on-boarding and monitoring of new and existing third-party vendor relationships

Additional Duties Include: Performing, documenting and coordinating the SBA's operational vendor risk-based due diligence processes and metric trackingAnalyzing contract and vendor spend identifying cost savings opportunities and supporting annual budget developmentDeveloping and maintaining reports and dashboards for oversight and analysis for vendor management assessment results and processesServing as the alternate IMT administrator to ensure a coordinated approach to preparing for, responding to, and managing an emergency incident at the SBASupporting Director of Vendor Management with the cyber security insurance policy renewal and the SBA's colleague emergency contact portal contract renewalMonitoring Vendor Management usage of cyber security monitoring licenses

Qualifications:A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance, mathematics, accounting, economics, statistics, business, law, computer science, management information systems, public administration, or a related field and two years of related experience. Or any combination of education and/or experience equal to the minimum requirements.

Preferences:Experience in organization-wide application implementation and/or database designKnowledge of internal controls, vendor due diligence, and/or contracting processes
