📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We're on the lookout for an experienced Solutions Engineer for our client who will provide support across various departments within the organization, assisting with IT initiatives, projects, and business requests. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, test case development, ad hoc reporting, user training, and support. They operate an open door policy, which means having access to leadership for advice, ideas and support as well as this, being onsite with the team will allow you to collaborate on projects.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure hardware availability and functionality for projects.Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions, including time and scope considerations.Assist in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions for team members.Facilitate collaboration between departments to achieve project goals.Analyze current technologies and develop improvement strategies.Document requirements for proposed updates, focusing on enhancing customer experience.Work with project management teams to monitor progress and implementation.Proactively manage project challenges and constraints.Coordinate activities between IT and business units.Additional Skills:Preferred skills in project development and leadership.Experience with IT and cloud infrastructure, such as Microsoft Azure.Knowledge of system security best practices.Familiarity with software engineering, customer experience, and design architecture.Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques.Extensive experience with various operating systems.Professional experience in analyzing computer hardware and software.Ability to collaborate with multiple departments to execute project plans.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.Minimum 4 years of experience in infrastructure, operations, or software development.Experience in implementation, training, and documentation is advantageous.Preferred management experience.
