📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Title: Gas Transmission/Gas Distribution Engineer Location: Anywhere in US, prefer OH, CA, or GA(This position will be based on a Hybrid work schedule if you are located near an office in the US)Type: Direct Hire
As a Stations Senior Engineer tasks may include, but will not be limited to station engineering and design including design criteria, material selection, and equipment sizing and selection in compliance with codes and standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:· Technical Scope Development – involves themselves in any needed project as it moves through the scope development phase to assist in ensuring project is resourced correctly, that all parties are communicating effectively, and that the scope is well understood and clear to the project team members.o Drive technical expertise on supported projects.o Collaborates with senior management to ensure project-related issues are addressed.o Ensures most up to date client standards are utilized in project execution.o Promotes use of standards and codes by younger engineers.· Training and Developmento Help support less experienced station engineering team members in the development of technical knowledge and experience.o Assist senior leadership in development of engineering training and employee development.
Education and Experience:· Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from ABET accredited college preferred· Leadership or management experience preferred· 8-12+ years of gas transmission or gas distribution experience OR 5+ years of gas transmission or gas distribution experience with PE certificationo natural gas and oil systemso transmission and distribution station designo gas measurement, regulation, control, and material/equipment sizing/selection
