Tax and Accounting Manager / Supervising Senior

Candidate should be a detail-oriented problem solver, be able to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines, and be creative in tax planning and application. Candidate should be confident and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The position requires technical proficiency with the IRC, Office 365 and QuickBooks, as well as a desire to suggest and encourage implementation of new technologies. CPA and/or EA designation and 5 or more years of experience in public accounting a must. Knowledge of UltraTax CS, Checkpoint Edge, and QuickBooks Online a plus. Project management duties will include implementing and reviewing firm policies and procedures, project planning and execution, staff assignment and supervision, work paper and tax return review, accounting and transaction review, and tax research and planning. Operational managerial functions include software analysis, staff evaluations and training, client development, and expanding client services.
