📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
StevenDouglas is searching for an Accountant to support the Finance team of a growing Private Equity firm in Jacksonville.
Position details:Assist in the GL accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and month end close processesProcess accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.Manage expense reporting in Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies and proceduresWork closely with the Private Equity team to support accounting functions specific to investment fundsCompile and analyze financial statements to assess financial performance, identify variances, and provide insights to management.Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Required/Desired Skills:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is required.Strong understanding of AP, AR, Travel and Expense Reporting, and financial reporting processesProficiency in Concur, AP system (Bill.com), SAGE Accounting system and other relevant financial softwareExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills
