📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
StevenDouglas is partnering with a billion dollar, PE backed company in Boca Raton seeking an Accounting Director to join their team.
Responsibilities: -Oversee the monthly close process, including financial analysis and preparation of various month-end deliverables. -Ensure the timely reporting of all financial information, including the preparation of financial statements and reports. -Review and approve monthly account reconciliations -Oversee management reporting processes including cost accounting -Oversee financial and accounting system controls-Assist in the facilitation of the annual audit -Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures -Provide guidance on complex accounting issues -Ensure consistency in accounting policies and compliance with GAAP
Qualifications: -BS Degree in accounting or related field, CPA -7+ years of experience in accounting in medium to large companies -2+ years public accounting experience -Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus
