Business Manager

STHRN Hospitality Co is an Atlanta-based restaurant management company that oversees restaurants, bars, food halls and cafes across the Southeast. We are growing rapidly and are looking for a business manager / controller to assist the third-party accounting team with processing restaurant (unit) invoices and with overseeing billing and invoicing at the headquarters level.

The ideal candidate will also serve as a project manager to make sure that all of the team members on a project are reporting and operating according to agreed roles and schedules.

While the company is based in Atlanta and has operations in Washington DC and the midwest, the job is remote. Responsibilities:Manage vendor relationships / communication and serve as the liaison between vendors and accounting team Ensure all unit-level invoices are uploaded to the accounting platform, review vendor statements and coordinate with unit managers for any missing invoicesOrganize weekly payables list in coordination with unit managersMaintain all business licenses, permits, contracts, etc., and a calendar for timely renewals.Create and maintain internal data organization (Google Drive) standards and best practicesManage all client invoicing for monthly fees and reimbursementsMaintain agendas for internal STHRN executive meetings and maintain list of deliverablesAttend STHRN client meetings and maintain a list of deliverables and timelines for each clientWork with the project onboarding team to create & manage pre-opening capital expenditures budgets

QualificationsStrong organizational skills are a must3+ years' of relevant work experience in a similar role, ideally in real estate or hospitalityBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience with Quickbooks and Microsoft OfficeGeneral business skills including budget preparation, accounts payable and accounts receivableExperience with Restaurant 365 accounting software a plus, but not requiredReferences required
