📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
🚀 Vice President - Renewable Energy Project Finance⚡ Renewable Energy Investment Banking🌎 United States - New York City💰 $160-200k + bonus
Storm4 is working with a leading Investment bank who are searching for a VP to lead out their underwriting efforts & service their Energy portfolio's for their Renewable Energy projects. This position requires having high levels of expertise in structuring, analysis, and credit documentation, whilst also being instrumental in managing deal processes throughout.
ResponsibilitiesManage all external-facing deal processes, from day to day interaction with clients, consultants, and with lawyersLead multiple internal teams across workstreams related to deal underwriting and processingReview financial models prepared by team members & train junior members on modeling & other responsibilitiesLead due diligence efforts and prepare Q&A logs for potential lending opportunitiesReview consultant reports from independent engineers, insurance consultants, appraisal, and power market consultantsPrepare marketing materials, internal credit memos for potential clients & lendersReview & transaction legal documents, providing commentary in the context of deal negotiation
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a quantitative field6+ years' experience within Project Finance at a Corporate or Investment Bank, Renewable Energy company, consulting firm, or renewables focused Private Equity / Private Credit fund.Strong financial modeling skills & of risks related to Renewables & Power energy projectsGood understanding of tax equity and debt structures used in the U.S. renewables spaceExperience reviewing legal documents
