Studio 1220 is seeking an experienced interior designer specializing in kitchen and bath to join our team. You will be responsible for guiding clients from the initial planning phase through construction and the final completion of projects.
To succeed in this role, you must have design experience, a combination of creativity, technical skills, and superb interpersonal skills.
ResponsibilitiesClient consultationsJob-site visits to assess space, measure, and gather essential information.Creating functional layouts & renderings in 2020 Design. If you have no experience in this software, please include what software you have experience with, in your resume.Present design concepts considering functionality, aesthetics, and product specifications.Selecting materials with the client to fit their aesthetic taste and budget.Detailed cost estimates for materials & labor for each project.Project management, including detailed drawings packages, materials lists, and item specifications for contractors to follow.Managing your own schedule and multitasking between design and sales tasks.Stay informed about the latest trends, materials, and technologies in kitchen and bath design.Assisting with visual merchandizing in the showroom
QualificationsBachelor’s degree, Interior Design program preferred2 years of Bathroom and Kitchen design experienceProven successful experience as a salespersonOutstanding graphic presentation skills and the ability to communicate design ideas quickly.Passion for design and entrepreneurial spirit
