Summary:Studio71 is looking for an Junior Account Executive on the West Coast to sell Studio71’s simulcast Podcast offering. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a hunter mentality and ability to find contacts, get meetings, and close business. Additionally, candidate should bring a positive attitude and team mentality to the position.
Responsibilities:- Proactively develop new business via email/cold call/networking/referrals on an ongoing basis- Build upon current relationships for podcast clients- Clearly understand client needs/KPIs and Studio71’s value proposition to provide strategic audio & video recommendations across our podcast portfolio- Build strong relationships with advertisers to ensure their success and repeat business- Track sales performance, inclusive of forecasting, budget, launch dates and close rates- Achieve sales goals, attend internal meetings and training meeting (both in person and virtually)- Collaborate with internal teams to produce seamless execution of best in class campaigns
Requirements:-1-2 years of podcast sales experience- In-depth knowledge and understanding of podcast landscape- Self-motivated and proactive go-getter- Must have strong interpersonal & communication (written and oral) skills- Highly organized, goal-driven, as well as creative with the ability to multi-task
