Summit Materials is looking for a mechanically inclined, safety-oriented Crusher Laborer. Roles & Responsibilities 

Site Observations and Safety Awareness Watch for any potential site or plant problems that are within your view. Be alert to site hazards involved with feeding from the load face of material Daily Job Tasks Cleanup crusher spillage Grease equipment and plant Plant maintenance Plant/Site organization Operation of equipment Equipment is to be operated in a safe and efficient manner. Skid Steer experience a plus, (can be trained) Productivity Seeks to produce material that will provide the most consistent, highest quality end products, under the direction of the foreman and pit supervisor. Seeks to perform daily tasks in a safe and efficient manner

Skills & Experience  

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required MSHA training is a plus but not required.
