Overview

SupplyOne is hiring a Staff Accountant for a fast-paced corporate environment with high visibility to the Executive Leadership Team. This position is a key part of a small corporate headquarters team supporting the Corporate Controller and senior executive management for a large national packaging manufacturer and distributor. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for daily accounting and reporting functions at the corporate headquarters. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, self-motivated, team player, extremely flexible, and able to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks concurrently are crucial for success in this role. This is a full-time position and will sit on-site at our corporate office in Newtown Square, PA.

Primary Responsibilities:Shared responsibility for Accounts Payable processingResponsible for assistance with daily treasury reporting and correspondence and requests from operating locations relating to bankingShared responsibility for the month-end close process, month-end journal entries, and reconciliationsResponsible for processing billing and cash receipts as neededAssistance with resolution of tax notices for Corporate income and franchise taxMaintain tax packet used for return preparation for corporate and franchise taxAssist in a year-end review of tax packets and depreciation schedulesResponsible for registered agent oversight and state registrations/annual reportsResponsible for consolidated sales/use tax review and filing with outside tax groupReview sales/use tax processes at operating locations and review alternatives for more efficient processingProvide support to the accounting departments at the subsidiary levelInvolved with year-end close, external year-end audit, and other projects as neededOpportunities to work on technical accounting research and analysis as needed
